The Red Ledges Nature Preserve provides scenic respite along the East Creek Lake Road corridor within the municipality of Heber City. The Property consists of natural, open space, and wildlife habitat and provides publicly accessible recreational use in the form of hiking, equestrian, and biking trails. These trails serve as an extension to local trail networks. Protected, the Property secures hundreds of acres of open space in the Heber Valley. Additionally, Red Ledges Nature Preserve can be seen from several vantage points, including from publicly accessible trails in the Wasatch Mountain area. The Property is a refuge for several sensitive species, as well as other wildlife.
