Volunteers are a vital part of Utah Open Lands’ conservation efforts, supporting the stewardship and protection of unique landscapes across the state. From habitat restoration and monitoring to outreach and community engagement, volunteers contribute directly to meaningful, on-the-ground preservation of the conservation easements entrusted to our care.

Volunteering may involve hands-on work to remove weeds and restore natural landscapes, or sharing stories on social media about what makes a place special. Past opportunities have included:

Planting native seedlings, saplings, and grasses to restore disturbed areas.
