In October of 2000, Utah Open Lands purchased Parriott Mesa Preserve.  This critical access-land to the popular climbing destination and desert landscape of Parriott Mesa, is located in southeastern Utah. The Preserve has been acquired as part of a broader Castle Valley campaign to also secure access lands currently owned by SITLA, the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration.
