Irie Hollow

Utah Open Lands received 164 acres of critical sage-grouse winter range habitat as a complete donation from Dex and Trudy Whitehead. The forever conserved, picturesque, keystone aspen stands result in additional protected habitat for black bear, moose, elk and countless other species, and is an indicator of the ecological integrity and biodiversity of the property. This landowning family knew that this land, located in close proximity to other protected open spaces, needed to be protected, and has ensured scenic relief for generations to come.
