Give your gear another adventure

That tent you no longer use. Those climbing shoes that never quite fit.

Utah Open Lands is partnering with Pando Refitters to get good outdoor gear back into the hands of the outdoor community while raising funds to protect the places we all care about.

When you donate gear through this partnership, Pando sells it at affordable prices, with proceeds from those sales supporting Utah Open Lands.

You can mail gear from anywhere in the U.S. or drop it off directly at Pando’s Provo store. Just be sure to designate Utah Open Lands when you donate.

Drop It Off With Us: September 21–26

Don’t want to mail your gear or make the trip to Provo? For one week, bring it to Utah Open Lands instead.

Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Saturday, September 26, 11 a.m.–noon

Utah Open Lands
1488 S Main Street

We’ll collect everything and take it to Pando Refitters on Saturday.

What Can You Donate?

Pando accepts clean, functional outdoor equipment and apparel from name brands, generally about 10 years old or newer — everything from climbing and camping gear to snow, cycling and outdoor apparel.

Larger items like skis and bikes can be taken directly to Pando in Provo or dropped at our office during the campaign week. If you mail gear or drop it off at Pando, be sure to designate Utah Open Lands so the proceeds support us.

For more specific guidelines — including items Pando can’t resell, like used climbing ropes — see the Pando Selling Guide.

The Partnership Continues

The UOL office drop-off ends September 26, but our partnership with Pando continues. You can keep donating gear through the partnership directly with Pando. Just designate Utah Open Lands when you mail it in or drop it off so the proceeds from those sales support UOL.
