TAKE A CULTURAL ECO TOUR

bunnell's fork
Protected in 2025
Acreage: 153
Utah County, UT

Bunnell’s Fork is a 153-acre public park in Provo Canyon. Its untarnished gambel oak and aspen-conifer forests give way to riparian ecosystems and also a manicured public park to create a healthy, beautiful, ecologically intact landscape that can be enjoyed both by humans and wildlife.
Purchased by the city of Provo to protect essential upland water resources, it was protected by conservation easement in late 2025 by unanimous consent of the Provo City Council, reflecting the city’s continued commitment to protecting the character and ecology of South Fork Canyon.
It is partly run as South Fork Park, a manicured open space frequented by those hoping to cool off in the summer and take in some of the characteristic views of the central Wasatch. From South Fork Park visitors can hike or bike Bunnell’s Fork Trail and the planned miles of singletrack to come.
