Donna Van Buren Woods was a tremendous force for good in her community, and our hearts are heavy with her passing as we share our deepest sympathies for her loss.
Utah Open Lands is humbled and eternally grateful to have been able to experience the joy and generosity of Donna VanBuren. During our campaign to save the Armstrong Snow Ranch Pastures, Donna was there from the beginning. She was eager to write to councilmembers, canvas door to door, attend various fundraising events speaking on behalf of the land, and also individually supported the preservation of the pastures.
Donna’s legacy will live on through the many open spaces and causes she supported, and the lives of the people she has touched, and we are honored to have known her and witnessed her passion for community. As we reflect on Donna’s life, we will be ever mindful of how she made the world a better place, from snow-covered peaks to the lush green pastures that are protected forever. We hope that Donna’s family, friends, and loved ones can find comfort in one another.
