Land Conservation Accomplishments

With the help of our many supporters known as land stewards, Utah Open Lands(UOL) has successfully completed thirty-eight land protection projects to date, bringing the total acres protected by conservation
easements to over 50,000 acres. We wanted to briefly share with you the important impact these projects have on Utah's landscapes, communities and future generations.

By forging working partnerships with landowners, Utah Open Lands has protected over 50,000 acres from development; acreage worth over $30 million under an average annual budget of less than $200,000. This astounding success has been accomplished almost solely through private initiative. Consequently, every dollar donated to Utah Open Lands translates directly into protected lands.
