Description: In February 1999, Utah Open Lands signed a conservation easement on 40 acres of ranch land in Summit County. The property, located along Old Ranch Road just outside of Park City, offers tremendous scenic value as well as providing important wildlife habitat in an area that is under intense development pressures. This project is indeed a demonstration of the significance of protecting open space amid urbanizing landscapes.
