Description: The Taylor Hollow Property is an undeveloped, relatively natural area in a working sheep and cattle ranch. Two streams occur on the Property. The Property is in the East Canyon Creek watershed. Dominant vegetation on the Taylor Hollow Property consists of sagebrush steppe, Gambel oak woodlands, and aspen forests. Vegetation on the Property functions as food and shelter for birds and other wildlife including mule deer, elk, and mountain lions. Greater sage grouse have been documented in the area of the Property. Sage grouse habitat on the Property includes summer range with both sagebrush steppe and riparian areas. Sagebrush steppe provides nesting and foraging habitat for adult birds, while riparian areas are particularly key to brood success. The Property also provides winter habitat for sage grouse.
