Description: This preservation area is just northeast of Castle Valley, Utah, outside of Moab. It spans almost the entire Professor Valley from Adobe Mesa to Fisher Mesa. Consisting of beautiful, tortous landscape of red rock, sand, and desert vegetation, this conservation easement harbors sandy washes and deep slot canyons that funnel water into Professor Creek which crosses the property. The eroded waterways and windways provide the sensuous beauty of intricate formations, shifting light and shadow, patterns of water, animal tracks, pockets of dense vegtation, and the sounds of birds, water and wind that change with weather and seasons.
