Description: This conservation easement is bordered by the Bear River, alpine forest intersperses with meadows and small lakes and ponds is adjacent to the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This heavily vegetated area is good cover for large mammals such as deer, elk, and moose. The Bear River itself is home to several trout species, including the rare Bonneville Cutthroat Trout. The lakes provide a home for passing water fowl. The large Bear River riparian corridor can be viewed from Highway 140, a UT Scenic Byway.
